Reserve a Group Study Room at the Oceanside Library & Information Hub
There are ten group study rooms available for reservation by currently enrolled MiraCosta College students at the Oceanside campus for student-only use.
As a publicly funded institution, MiraCosta College prohibits paid tutors from using study rooms to conduct tutoring sessions.
Rooms are for groups of two or more students. Single users may book small rooms for the following reasons only:
- To practice an oral presentation such as a speech, slide presentation or monologue;
- To make a Skype or other internet-based call for the purposes of a school assignment or interview.

Single user reservations are not available the two weeks before the end of a semester due to demand for group study rooms for exam preparation.
Please choose the room that best fits your group size and equipment needs.
You must enter a SURF ID number when reserving the room as well as a valid email address and phone number for confirmation. When you arrive for your room, please check in at the Circulation Desk. Rooms may be reserved for a maximum block of 3 hours per day per study group and up to 30 days in advance.*
To begin your booking, click the green boxes next to the time/room you'd like. Each box is one half-hour of time.

* Please respect the three hour limit; staff may make exceptions for extended reservations by a study group based on availability and demand. Rooms are in high demand during mid-term and final exams and extended reservations may not be available. See staff if you have questions.
